Our Language Vacation Destinations
The Program at a Glance
Our language vacation program is designed for individual students who want to spend their vacation in a special way, immersing themselves in language and culture while gaining new experiences. Students can register individually for the scheduled dates at any time once they are posted on our website. In addition to improving language skills, the program also offers an extensive optional recreational program. For students, language camps are an opportunity for personal growth, individual maturation, getting to know peers, taking on personal responsibility, finding their bearings in a new environment, and discovering the world. In short: valuable support as they grow into adulthood.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
For which age group are language camps suitable?
In our experience, language study abroad programs require a certain level of maturity. The ideal age for these programs is 15–19 years old. We offer “à la carte” courses for adults, but we do not offer any programs for children.
What criteria are used to select host families?
Host families can be private households of all kinds: single women or men of various ages, single parents, traditional families, older married couples, etc. For us, the term “host family” is synonymous with “private household.” Hosts who wish to host our exchange students apply to us—or are recommended to us by existing hosts. We visit every single host family in person before they receive guests from us and clarify mutual expectations. We require a clean criminal record. On our part, it is important to treat the students with hospitality. The living space must allow for some privacy. Sleeping accommodations must include beds, pull-out couches, or sofa beds. The household should generally be neat and clean. Shared use of the bathroom and toilet must be possible. Conversely, host families can expect respectful and polite guests who respect the hosts’ privacy and personal preferences. We address complaints about host families immediately and find a solution. If necessary, we take appropriate action and no longer assign that host family. Conversely, we report serious misconduct by students to their legal guardians.
What happens in cases of allergies, food intolerances, or special needs?
Please let us know in advance about any special needs, allergies, or food intolerances that are relevant to the stay. We can always find a solution. We’ll find suitable hosts and pass this information along to them. The students in question will then discuss their needs again with their hosts once they arrive.
Are there any recreational activities?
Both in Vienna and in Cannes, we organize a wide range of leisure activities. In Cannes, these include excursions—for example, to Nice; to the Chagall Museum; to Grasse, where you can create your own perfume at the “Galimard” perfume factory; to Antibes; to the Picasso Museum; to Monaco; water sports; a boat trip to Île Sainte-Marguerite; and more.
In Vienna, these include sightseeing tours, such as the Austrian Gallery at Belvedere Palace, Time Travel Vienna, the Hundertwasser House & Prater, the Museum of Illusions, Schönbrunn Palace, the Danube Island, the Natural History Museum, Schönbrunn Zoo, and more.
If you ever decide not to participate in a scheduled activity, there are plenty of other options at both destinations. You certainly won’t get bored.
