Registration and Payment

We hope you found a course that suits you on our website.

We are happy to assist you should you have any questions about the course you have selected. When you submit the registration form, please transfer a deposit of EUR 150 or a maximum of 20% of the total price to the following account:

This constitutes a binding contract on your part. Once we have received the deposit and the registration form, you will receive a confirmation of registration and an invoice. Payment is due 2 weeks before the trip begins. You will receive your travel documents, including the exact address of your accommodations, upon receipt of the balance. Late payment does not relieve you of your obligation to pay.

Classes

A class period lasts 45 minutes.

Cancellation of the Course

Withdrawal from the course before its completion does not entitle the participant to a refund. In cases of hardship (serious illness, accident, etc.), it is recommended that participants purchase travel and cancellation insurance. The cost of the return trip, as well as any costs incurred by an accompanying person, are the responsibility of the participant.

Withdrawal by the Participant

Please notify us in writing as soon as possible if you wish to or need to cancel your reservation. A trip is considered canceled as of the time Pierre & Sprachferien receives written notice of cancellation. In this case, the following cancellation fees apply:

From the time of registration until 30 days before departure: deposit plus any non-refundable bookings already made (airline and train tickets)

From 29 days to 7 days before departure: 50% plus non-refundable bookings already made (airline and train tickets)

6 or more days before departure: 85% plus the cost of non-refundable bookings already made (airline and train tickets)

In case of a no-show: 100%, including non-refundable bookings (airline and train tickets).

Failure to pay or failure to show up are not considered cancellations. We therefore recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance. The necessary insurance forms will be sent to you along with your registration confirmation.

PLEASE NOTE: For language and project weeks for groups, individual cancellation policies often apply; these are listed in the registration confirmation!

Withdrawal by the Organizer

Pierre & Sprachferien GmbH reserves the right to cancel a course and not hold it up to 4 weeks before departure if the required minimum enrollment of 15 participants is not reached. In this case, the participant will be refunded the full amount paid for the course.

Changes to Services and Prices

The program may be modified even after the course has begun due to force majeure, official orders, or other compelling reasons, in a manner that is reasonable for the participant. Pierre & Sprachferien reserves the right to adjust the agreed-upon prices for significant unforeseeable reasons (e.g., exchange rate fluctuations, changes in transportation costs), provided that the start of the trip is no more than 2 months after the contract is concluded.

Complaints and Liability

All complaints must be reported immediately at the course location so that we can resolve any issues on the spot. We cannot issue refunds for issues that are reported after the fact. Participants must submit any claims regarding non-compliance with the terms of the contract in writing to Pierre & Sprachferien GmbH within one month of the course’s conclusion.

Insurance

Course participants are not covered by health insurance provided by either Pierre & Sprachferien GmbH or the host families. However, there are agreements in place with most countries regarding statutory health insurance. Please check with your health insurance provider. We will send you the necessary documents to purchase comprehensive travel insurance along with your quote.

Travel Guarantee and Customer Protection

Pierre & Sprachferien GmbH has insolvency insurance and is registered in the Travel Insolvency Insurance Registry within the GISA (Austrian Business Information System) of the Federal Ministry for Digitalization and Business Location.
