Accessibility of Our Website

We are working to ensure that our website is accessible to everyone, and we are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Current status: The website does not yet fully meet this requirement. We have had it reviewed and would prefer to be transparent about the limitations we are aware of:

• Users who navigate the page using the keyboard currently cannot see which element is currently selected.
• The page cannot be zoomed in on mobile devices.
• The FAQ section on the home page can only be opened with the mouse, not with the keyboard.
• Some color combinations—especially light shades of beige and turquoise on white—lack sufficient contrast.
• Not all images have a text description for screen readers.
• The video on the home page plays automatically on a continuous loop and cannot be paused.

These issues are currently being resolved. 

If you are unable to use our website

You don't have to use our website to make a reservation with us. Anything you can do online, you can also do by phone or email —consultations, quotes, reservations, and changes.

If you need information in simple language, in larger print, or read aloud: Give us a call, and we'll go through it together.

Legal Notice

As a microenterprise as defined in Section 3(19) of the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG)—with fewer than ten employees and an annual turnover of no more than two million euros—Reisebüro Pierre & Sprachferien GmbH is exempt from complying with accessibility requirements under Section 6(1) of the BaFG. We are implementing the measures described here on a voluntary basis.

This page is therefore not an accessibility statement as defined by the Web Accessibility Act, nor is it a declaration of conformity; rather, it is a self-assessment of our current status.
